Problem Note 33345: In SAS® 9.2, if PROC GCHART code is run with the default Win device and Thai language, it might generate unusual characters in the GRAPH output window
On a Microsoft Thai Windows system using SAS 9.2 Thai, if GCHART procedure code is submitted without a DEVICE= option set, then the default WIN device is used. The resulting output in the GRAPH window might show Thai characters as garbage characters or unusual characters, even though the text font is correct in View Object Properties in Grap Edit mode.
One workaround is to specify a graph device (for example device= GIF or PNG).
A fix is planned for a future release of SAS.
